Description: Mouse BMP-9 ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests). Quantitate Mouse Gdf2 in bone tissue, cell culture supernatants, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Sensitivity: 10pg/ml.
Function: Potent circulating inhibitor of angiogenesis. Could be involved in bone formation. Signals through the type I activin receptor ACVRL1 but not other Alks. Signaling through SMAD1 in endothelial cells requires TGF-beta coreceptor endoglin/ENG.
Cell localization: Secreted.
Storage conditions: Store at 4°C for 6 months, at -20°C for 12 months. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles (Ships with gel ice, can store for up to 3 days in room temperature. Freeze upon receiving.)
Assay inforation: Dilution ratio of 1:1, concentration in serum and plasma is around 60 pg/ml.
