Description: CDNF Rat Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 163 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 18.8kDa. The CDNF is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Function: Trophic factor for dopamine neurons. Prevents the 6- hydroxydopamine (6-OHDA)-induced degeneration of dopaminergic neurons. When administered after 6-OHDA-lesioning, restores the dopaminergic function and prevents the degeneration of dopaminergic neurons
