NUP62 Human Recombinant produced in SF9 is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a calculated molecular mass of 66 kDa.
NUP62 is expressed with a -10x His tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Applications: Western b
Function:
Essential component of the nuclear pore complex. The N- terminal is probably involved in nucleocytoplasmic transport. The C-terminal is probably involved in protein-protein interaction via coiled-coil formation and may function in anchorage of p62 to the
Cell localization:
Nucleus, nuclear pore complex. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, spindle pole. Central region of the nuclear pore, within the transporter. During mitotic cell division, it associates with the poles of the mitotic spindle.
Purification:
Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage conditions:
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
