Description: Human ADA/Adenosine Deaminase ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests). Quantitate Human ADA in cell culture supernatants, serum and pleural fluid. Sensitivity: 10pg/ml.
Function: Catalyzes the hydrolytic deamination of adenosine and 2- deoxyadenosine. Plays an important role in purine metabolism and in adenosine homeostasis. Modulates signaling by extracellular adenosine, and so contributes indirectly to cellular signaling events
Cell localization: Cell membrane; Peripheral membrane protein; Extracellular side. Cell junction. Cytoplasmic vesicle lumen. Cytoplasm. Colocalized with DPP4 at the cell junction in lymphocyte-epithelial cell adhesion.
Storage conditions: Store at 4°C for 6 months, at -20°C for 12 months. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles (Ships with gel ice, can store for up to 3 days in room temperature. Freeze upon receiving.)
