Description: Interleukin-13 Mouse Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 111 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 12.3 kDa. The IL-13 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Function: Cytokine. Inhibits inflammatory cytokine production. Synergizes with IL2 in regulating interferon-gamma synthesis. May be critical in regulating inflammatory and immune responses (By similarity).
Cell localization: Secreted.
Purification: Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
