Description: Eotaxin Rat Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 74 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 8.4kDa. The CCL11 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Function: In response to the presence of allergens, this protein directly promotes the accumulation of eosinophils, a prominent feature of allergic inflammatory reactions.
Cell localization: Secreted.
Purification: Greater than 97.0% as determined by (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC and (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Storage conditions: Lyophilized Eotaxin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCL11 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.For long term storage it is recommended to add
