Description: Parathyroid Hormone Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 28 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 3380 Dalton. The PTH is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Function: This is a receptor for parathyroid hormone and for parathyroid hormone-related peptide. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which activate adenylyl cyclase and also a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.

Purification: Greater than 97.0% as determined by (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC and (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
