Description: CXCL14 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 77 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 9.4kDa. The CXCL14 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Function: Potent chemoattractant for neutrophils, and weaker for dendritic cells. Not chemotactic for T-cells, B-cells, monocytes, natural killer cells or granulocytes. Does not inhibit proliferation of myeloid progenitors in colony formation assays.
Cell localization: Secreted.
Purification: Greater than 95.0% as determined by (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC and (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Storage conditions: Lyophilized CXCL14 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CXCL14 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Aa sequence: The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ser-Lys-Cys-Lys-Cys.
