Description: IL 7 Rat Recombinant produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 129 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 15.0kDa. The IL 7 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Function: Hematopoietic growth factor capable of stimulating the proliferation of lymphoid progenitors. It is important for proliferation during certain stages of B-cell maturation.
Cell localization: Secreted.
Purification: Greater than 98.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Storage conditions: Lyophilized IL-7 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL-7 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
